Although they always refused to be part of this. for this, they have killed gangsters, in order to get peace.
The episodes are narrated by a childhood friend, Joey "Ice Cream", who narrates the events from a very subjective point of view and unreliable
This series shows from a very real and fictional events that occurred in Irish and Italian neighborhoods. sure, this is part of the drama of the series. Besides. in a second place, the directors are trying to show problems such as:
- The neighborhood is Also Threatened by Attempts to displace ITS population, and lead to the marginalization, Caused by the project to create new districts, keeping the country's development. Project Influenced by actors of power with feelings of racism, to the detriment of these immigrants (and their descendants).

Series about World War II. this shows the action that took the 506º Easy Company of the Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division of the US Army, since training of the troops until entry to the World War II, specifically on the European stage.
The series seems quite objective, although, the events are based on interviews to veterans of Easy Company (All characters in the series are based on real characters of that company) leaving a degree of subjectivity.
It's a pretty entertaining series, in it you can meet European stages (not so mentioned) of the Second World War!
